Nous Frame is Chicago-based and founded in 2026 — but the studio didn't start from zero. Before the name existed, the same work was already happening: four years of freelance web design and development, roughly 50 projects shipped for small businesses across construction, e-commerce, interior design, beauty, and home services.
Nous Frame is that experience under one name, with a clearer offer: custom-built websites, technical SEO, and GEO/AI-search optimization baked in from the first line of HTML — not bolted on after launch.
Why hand-

Template builders ship fast but plateau fast — identical layouts, bloated scripts, SEO that fights the platform instead of working with it. Every Nous Frame site is hand-coded on a modern stack: sub-second loads, Lighthouse 95+, and a design system built around the business, not a theme.
That approach carries over from four years of freelance work into every Nous Frame project today — same standard, now with a name and a process behind it.
